Cornerstone

Why is Christ known as the Master Teacher?

This question as many answers to me, because He has taught his people in many different forms. In parables and by being an example. A quote from Boyd K. Packer talking about the Savior, "The Lord is our example. It would be hard to describe the Lord as an executive. Let me repeat that. It would be hard to describe the Lord as an executive. He was a teacher. That is the ideal, the pattern." The pattern to teach is doctrine, principles, and tools. This is the example that we need to follow if we want to become a Master Teacher like our Lord. “The true essence . . . is not in procedure – it is in knowing and teaching principles and doctrine.” Another quote from Boyd K. Packer. Another reason why Christ was a great teacher is because he made his followers ponder and pray about his teachings and discover for themselves. That is why I think Christ is a Master Teacher.
